I have tested for free and would like to buy a subscription - how ?

After you have finished the free 7 days test, please log in from the frontpage at www.mysmtp.eu.Your account information has been saved in the system. Then click the START SERVICE button. Now you can choose the subscription that suits your daily email needs.

Which subscription suits me best?

1. If you are one user (1 email address) with a normal email requirement, a Basic subscription will suit you well. This subscription lets you send up to 75 emails per day.
2. If you want to share your MYSMTP.eu subscription with family or friends (up to 3 email addresses) you should choose Family. This subscription lets you send up to 75 emails per day.
3. If you need the SMTP service for several people, e.g. for a company or a work group, you can choose between three different Premium subscriptions.

Can I be sure that SMTP.eu does not pass on my email addresses to a third party?

Yes, you can.
MYSMTP.eu protects all personal information according to legislation regarding this. You can read more about this in our business terms.

How can I see if my emails have been sent?

In your personal account, which you can get to on the front page of www.MYSMTP.eu, you can always follow your emails and see a receipt that they have been sent successfully.

Mails that are sent successfully are marked in green. Unsuccessful are red.

My email client “cannot connect to SMTP server”. What should I do?

Check the port number that appears in your email client.
You can connect to the SMTP server and ask for the available port number by using the TELNET protocol:

Click the Start button
Choose Run…
Then write cmd in the box and click OK
An MS-DOS prompt will now open. Write the following:

telnet mysmtp.eu 587

Click OK to connect to the SMTP server.

If the connection is in order, you will receive an answer from the mail server in the Telnet window:
220 smtp.dk ESMTP Postfix (Debian-GNU)
If port 587 not working, pleastry 25 or 2525
If non of these works, port 587 is probably blocked in the firewall, contact your network administrator

How do i upgrade a FREE test to a MYSMTP.eu paid subscription?

Log in to your account from www.mysmtp.eu, click on "Logon Customer" with your personal login.

Click on the "Start service" button.

Now you are able to make your choice. The system will remember your account settings in the mail programme

What does SMTP mean?

SMTP is an abbreviation of Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. In other words, SMTP describes the standard system that is used when your email is sent out into the world.

How many emails can I send at one time if I have a subscription with 75 emails per day?

With such a subscription you can send emails to for example, 10 ordinary recipients and 65 CC or BCC recipients. Each recipient counts as 1 email sending.
If you have more email accounts available in the subscription, eg. Family 3 accounts, all accounts share the daily 75 emails.

Can I use the same MYSMTP.eu subscription on several email programmes and mobile units?

Yes, you can use the same account with your user name and password on several email programmes and mobile units. Your only limitation is the number of emails you can send because this depends on your subscription. We only look at the SMTP login, not what domain or email you are sending from. So you are able to send from multiple domains and email accounts.

How does the logins work?

The password you chose together with your subscription purchase must only be used to log into your personal account.
In the welcome mail with the email setup details, you have received a unique autogenerated password that must be used for the email programme setup itself.
You can change the password for your email setup at any time via your account

What kind of MYSMTP.eu subscriptions are there?

You can choose between four subscription types depending on your needs:

  • Family: For you who wants to share a subscription with up to 3 different emails and send up to 75 emails per day.
  • Basic: If you send up to 75 emails per day.Flexible periods: 1 month, 3 months, 12 months
  • Small Business: You have 5 email accounts and 300 mails per day
  • Premium: This lets you use from 1 to 20 unique email accounts and send between 300 to 1.500 emails per day.

Why can’t I just use webmails like Yahoo mail, Hotmail and Gmail?

With MYSMTP.eu you do not need to log-in and send via various email addresses and then compromise your professional identity.
MYSMTP.eu makes it possible to mail with your personal email regardless of where you are.

Can outsiders read my mails when I send them from MYSMTP.eu?

No. MYSMTP.eu sets the security high and updates the security systems regularly. In addition, our servers are used exclusively for outgoing transport of emails. Sent emails are not store don the SMTP server either. Only if the email, due to one reason or another, cannot be delivered to the recipient, will the mail will be attempted to be sent for 3 days from the time it is received on the SMTP server.

What is the largest volume of data I can send via MYSMTP.eu?

With MYSMTP.eu you can send mails up to 25 MB. Many mail servers are actually configured to maximum receive mails of 25 MB but this does not always apply. If for example, you have 20 recipients on a large email to the same recipient server, it can create big problems on the network that must receive the mail. Therefore, a good recommendation is always not to send large mails. A mail that is approx. 20 mb is reformed to approx. 25 mb when it is sent as an email.

Can I mail with MYSMTP.eu when i´m abroad, and what about port 25?

Yes. With MYSMTP.eu you do not need to change your mail setup just because you travel. If you have set your computer up to use your MYSMTP.eu log-in and password, you are able to send emails from all foreign networks.
If the foreign internet provider or network administrator blocks port 25, you can just change to port 587 or 2525. Read here how you change the port on the different email programmes.

My email was sent successfully but the recipient has not received it. Why?

When you send an email, it is always sent from the one mail provider to the next until it finally arrives.
For some reason or other the recipient’s mail server must be offline or temporarily out of operation. Our MYSMTP.eu server will try to re-deliver the sent email every second hour for 3 days until it is delivered.

recognition as an acceptable way to fight spam and authenticate the identity of e-mail

DKIM
DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) lets an organization take responsibility for a message that is in transit. How do I get started with my MYSMTP.eu account?

When you have purchased your MYSMTP.eu subscription you receive 2 emails.
A receipt for your purchase.
An email with account information for the setup.
The password you chose when purchasing the subscription must ONLY be used to log into your account via the front page of www.MYSMTP.eu.
In the mail with account information, you receive the log-in that you must use for the setup of your email account so you can send via MYSMTP.eu´s outgoing serve. This password can be changed in your account setup.

Can I manage my account online?

Yes. From the front page of MYSMTP.eu you can, as a subscriber, log-in and:

  • Upgrade your account buying more daily emails
  • Buy additional time
  • See a log of sent emails and statistics
  • Update contact information
  • Change password and email account(s)

How do I extend my MYSMTP.eu subscription?

You can extend your subscription online by logging into the control panels on MYSMTP.eu. Ten days before your subscription expires you will receive a mail from MYSMTP.eu, which reminds you that time is running out. If you do not do anything before the expiry date, you will receive a second notice 2 days before the account expires. If you do not want to extend the account your subscription automatically expires.

I would like to increase the daily volume of emails I send from 75 to 125 – how do I do this

Please login to your account and you will find a menu for extending the subscription. now you are able to buy additonal emails per day.

The email Buffer product, gives you an extra amount of emails, so you will never run out.
